Build people who can carry the ministry.
Healthy leadership develops others. Ask yourself: What am I doing that someone else could begin learning? Who can I intentionally develop? The goal is a ministry that can continue growing because leadership and responsibility are being multiplied.Grow your influence in all three arenas.
Leadership is influence—helping others think, feel, or act differently. Effective ministry leadership requires growth in the Strategic arena (planning and results), Social arena (relationships and collaboration), and Spiritual arena (beliefs, values, purpose, and alignment). The intersection of all three is where the presentation places transformational leadership.
Go back through the kickoff materials and choose one area to work on this season. You don’t need to remember everything we covered. Identify what will help you lead, influence, and multiply more faithfully this year.
